Current Events

We have received such an outpouring of support from family,
friends, co-workers, neighbors and complete strangers, and
the community here has so much compassion for our mother,
us 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and the first great-grandchild
that Mom will never see.  

Please know how much we appreciate each kind word and
gesture, and know that comfort is what is helping us get
through this.
Thus far, the family has hosted a series of car washes and a bake sale.

Fundraisers & Current Events
  Our lives changed forever on August 6, 2009, the day our mother Cindy
Ramos was murdered.  To say that we are devastated doesn’t even come close to
describing the depth of pain caused by the act that stole her life.  And because that
act  in itself is so overwhelming,  we  haven’t even begun to absorb the fact that our
matriarch is gone forever.  
In our quest to honor our Dear Mother, we are creating an organization that will
carry her name, The Cindy Ramos Foundation, now known as 'Children of
Murdered Parents', and help other children cope with the unbearable pain of losing
such an important figure in such a tragic manner.
Thus, we appreciate all of your support.  Each smile, each card, each and every word
of comfort, each donation toward the cause that now drives our lives, gives us the
fuel to achieve our goal and aid in our healing as we aid others in theirs. Thank you,
from the bottom of our hearts.
